Phil Hughes

After Joe Girardi brought in Hughes in extras last night to bail out his bullpen, I'm wondering about the success rate of starters in similar situations to Hughes. The best example that comes to mind is Pedro Martinez in the '99 playoffs, tossing 8 scoreless against the Indians. Ironically, I'm assuming starters in this situation aren't as successful as position players.
